So, my cat was sitting, staring at the back door. She knows if she waits patiently enough, I will let her outside. As I look at the news, and all the people claiming thgey are "suffering", "oppressed", and how badly we need immediate change, I look at my cat. She waits in a sun beam shining through the window in the door until she can have what she really wants.... to go outside. She doesnt forget her main goal, but she's learned to be content and find the good in what she has until she can get better.
My cat teaches me a lot of good lessons.
